We’re looking for volunteers to assist older adults with selecting and shopping for their monthly commodities and loading their vehicles with their food boxes. If that’s you, see more information below!
Volunteer Opportunity: LOADING VEHICLES & HELPING OLDER ADULTS SHOP
顿别蝉肠谤颈辫迟颈辞苍:听Helpful volunteers will assist older adults with both selecting and shopping for their monthly commodities, as well as loading prepacked food boxes and additional food commodities into vehicles. Volunteers will also replenish the supplies/commodities for distribution.聽Minimum age is 18.
Friendly and patient volunteers are all welcome for this opportunity. Individuals or small groups (up to 10) are ideal. This is a moderately physical activity. Long periods of active moving and standing may occur.
Tasks include:
- Help participants select items off the shelves
- Assist them with loading items into vehicles
- Replenishing and restocking shelves
- Collecting shopping carts
Shifts:
- Monday-Thursday 9am-12pm & 12pm-3pm
- Friday 9am-12pm
